It was necessary to design the house of prayer on a site that is located in the densely populated Pozniaky district of Kyiv, near a lake. The site has a steep variation in elevation. This has led to rather complicated architecture that is completely different from the usual ascetic prayer houses of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Because of this, the design approval by the church's fathers was a long process. The main element of the building is its assembly hall, it is the most prominent volume. There are also a Sunday school, a sports hall, and office rooms in the building.
