HORA BUSINESS CENTER

Location:

Kyiv, Ukraine

Year:

2008

Design team:

V. Kudin, A. Mykhailenko

The building would mostly be perceived from passing by cars, therefore we went for a large-scale volume with dynamically expressed elements. When viewed at high speeds, they do not remain static, but as if are moving along with the viewer, revealing new angles of the building. The nine-to-five workday is becoming a thing of the past, so is important to ensure that employees have the comfort of free time; to integrate nature and daylight into the workplace. The design provides for the use of terraces and roofs as green areas. In addition to the terraces, there is a four-storey high green atrium. The project has been awarded the Voluta prize by the NUUA.
